Stressing Jack

Stressing jack is used to put in tension pre-stressing cables made of strands or bars, transferring the tension force to the pre-stressing anchorages. They are activated by a hydraulic pump. Stressing jacks can be structurally divided in front lock type and center hole type. It can be widely applied to pre-stressed structures in highway and railway bridges, water power dams, high-rise buildings etc.
