Lock-up Device

The lock-up device is a special damper similar to a speed switch, providing a certain degree of energy dissipation. When the relative movement speed between the beam and pier is less than the design value, the velocity lock is inactive, allowing the beam and pier to move relative to each other. When the relative speed between the beam and pier is greater than or equal to the design value, the velocity lock is locked, consolidating the beam and pier, thereby allowing the movable pier to partially share seismic forces (or significant wind loads). The axial load capacity of standard products ranges from 500 kN to 12,000 kN, and higher axial load designs are available upon request. This product is primarily used in bridge structures.

The company's lock-up device has obtained the European standard EN15129 CE certification.

Typical cases of the company's lock-up device application:

Shanxi Hequ Jinmeng Yellow River Bridge, Russia's Crimea Bridge, South Korea's West Pyeongtaek IC Bridge, South Korea's Huayang-Jeokgeum Bridge, etc.
