Lock-up Bearing

Lock-up bearing is developed based on pot bearings or spherical bearings by adding an extra lock-up device, which can serve as fixed bearing instantaneously in case of earthquake or traffic braking, transmitting the horizontal loads along with beam and pier. The lock-up bearing is generally applied to moveable piers in bridge structures, instead of moveable bearings.
